Surrender to Grace

Sometimes the path ahead
Is unclear.
And deep down we feel the ground
Shifting under us.
No evidence appearing—to validate
Our internal unrest.
At these times, our minds cannot possibly
Be enough.
Our hearts are best to guide us through
The dark unknown.
Our guts can direct each step
In each new moment.
It is easy to get overcome with so many
Fears swirling about.
We are only human
After all.
Grace arises in relationship with
The divine.
Prayers are taking action--to come into
That relationship.
So pray with me please.
Let’s invoke grace together.
And take courage as it begins to
Arise between us.
Let’s surrender to this change:
This new way.
It’s time to get busy,
Anchoring for our future generations.
