Everywhere
Abuzz with pollen
Collection
White haze off of
Blue mountains
Dressed their best in the
Summer shine
A fern stretches her array wide
To capture and feed
The willow is thirsty and
Waits for a drink
Blackberries reach closer
Crowding the path
White pickup rumbles by
Blaring country music
Hot tempers easily ignite
In all this heat
Smiling dog scooching upside down
In blissful green grass
Life is busy with busy
And flying by fast
I feel the blue mountain shine
Steady my heart.
