Storm Clouds
1:10

Sometimes the water in the sky

Can block out the sun.

The millions of tiny drops reflecting

Its rays out into space.

Underneath we cool down,

A resting place from normal intensity.

So quickly we begin

To miss the sun’s kiss.

When only a bit ago

We were beginning to burn.

There is little sweeter in this world

Than the return of the sun,

After we have become

Chilled to the bone.

What if these clouds

Are helping to remind us

To find the warmth

In each other’s smiles.

If they remind us

We are all in this together?

When the storm clouds come,

We remember to shelter one another.

You are welcome at my fire,

Please bring a song to share.
