Rupture Revelations

Boils arise when deep sickness
Is brought to the surface.
Years of suppression building,
Until the pressure finally wins.
Skin stretched to it’s limit,
Can no longer hold.
Rupture.
Toxic waste spills out,
No way to deny it now.
We see it.
We smell it.
Sick fascination draws us in.
Rancid, animalistic, relief.
Is this healing?
Is it sepsis?
Sensitivity heightened.
Seeking warmth and comfort.
Easily irritated.
Preoccupied with self.
We must seek the cause,
Carefully and correctly.
To avoid a fatal
Distribution of immunity.
And mount the fight,
To remove what destroys us.
