A flower holds
Between the blossom
And being destroyed.
Flowering takes focus
No time to be concerned
With all that could go wrong
In offering oneself fully.
The intention has been set
Growth has begun
With trust
The roots will appear.
What grander purpose
Than to emanate
One's unique essence
To this world?
