A small word.
Again.
With quite an impact.
When an experience
Of mine
Is unpleasant
And my mind’s response
Is
Again?
I immediately feel
Like I have dived into
A murky lake of
"My life is never going to
Get better."
And and impatience arises.
Frustration instead of
Acceptance.
I completely miss the
Chance
To get a clear look
At what actually
is.
Nope.
Don’t like that.
Just this feeling.
This is all I have
To feel.
No mountain to climb.
No history of mistakes.
Just this.
When an experience
Of mine
Is pleasant.
And my mind’s response
Is
Again!
I wonder if I
Caught
All of the delicious
Possible
Before wanting more?
Just this feeling.
This is all I have
To feel.
No reaching for something else.
No wave of need rising.
Just this.
