These are strange times.
KN95 is the new Black.
Long-standing inequities and complex traumas
Under the lens of collective shame.
Health “care” in crisis.
Financial values in question.
A person can get down right
Overwhelmed.
What Part have I played
In creating this world?
I pull a card saying to be me, and
Trust in whatever makes me happiest.
I direct my mind to focus on
All I have been blessed with holding.
I move, center, and feed my body
Until my cells are humming along with me.
A person can consciously choose
Peace.
What Part CAN I play
In creating this world?
This feels a bit like labor
Waves of contraction.
What have we collectively conceived and
When is this baby coming?
Birth is like death,
The mind in its right subordinate place.
Guided by an inner knowing and
Called to surrender to the unknown.
In hard times we remember
What and whom we love most.
We may need each other.
Never tear us apart.
