Hum
Feb 09, 2025
As the bee approaches—
Humming the air,
The rose sweetens
Her nectar.
Stretching her female
And male bits up,
Caressing the bees knees
As she drinks her fill.
For generations they
Have been dancing like this.
Sweetness and vibration,
In service to us all.
Touched by the beauty of the rose,
Fed the sweetness of honey.
Many, many, other wild creatures,
Constantly hum earth into harmony.
We have forgotten
Our song.
Taking—without joining in
The dance.
Are you listening to the
World around you?
Or simply stepping over her
On your way to work?
Many, many, indifferent, taking moments
Build dissonance and disconnection,
Until the flowering is
War, greed, and Tyranny.
This poem is my
Bee dance.
Please remember your hum,
There is sweetness anticipating you.
The best time would be now.
Let's join the dance.
LET'S CHANGE THE WORLD TOGETHER
