The flowers can-their fragrance

Heavy in the air.

Sprinklers and kiddie pools can--

They sprout up like weeds.

Skin can--suddenly displayed in all colors

And dispositions.

Afternoon calliope can--

calling all kids to ice cream.

The summer is waving.

Will you wave back?
