And we are the answer.

Born of this earth, in

Sweet Innocence.

Yet, we have contributed to

Her global imbalance.

Treating her many children

As enemy or fodder.

Have our hearts been asleep?

Or kept distracted?

Has the power of our choice

Been subverted?

What future are we creating

To serve our children?

What if:

We are the soil,

Within which the future is planted?

We are the seeds,

Stretching toward the light?

We are the roots,

Anchoring what will sustain?

We are the flowers,

Connecting in beauty?

We are the light,

Feeding the generations to come?

To remember your innocence?
