Fall has arrived.
The trees spoke of storms coming today.
But they aren’t here yet.
A time of shedding
The old.
And bundling up
A busy time
Bustling around in the day
Luxurious rest in the night.
Changes are quick
Like a fresh coat of paint
New sense of the space
New play of color
No going back.
The air is crisp
Not yet cold.
I need a different coat.
Mine is suited for
Different weather.
Warm but not bulky.
Sleek but not tight.
A fresh new look.
To match my feeling inside.
