To erase bitter past perceptions.

Lump in my throat from the pressure

Of needing to discover my own contributions.

Spirit toning a low steady song through my heart

The tone I resonate with as my own.

I remember the green of the forest

With the golden sun breaking through.

My library of perception lights up

A kaleidoscope of tiny individual reflections.

Each bitter file can be flipped over

To reveal the heavy emotion with which it got stuck.

Yes, this one too.

I accept and forgive.

Until my heart sings steady

And the green light shines through.
